KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives settled lower today.
Spot month June 2024 contract slipped six points to 1,585.0, July 2024 went down by eight points to 1,589.0, September 2024 erased 5.5 points to 1,576.5 and December 2024 fell seven points to 1,583.5.
Turnover surged to 47,262 lots from 22,229 yesterday, while open interest increased further to 92,891 contracts from 65,039 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI erased 4.28 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 1,585.38 from Monday’s close of 1,589.66.
