KUALA LUMPUR, July 1 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.
Spot month July 2024 gained 5.5 points to 1,602.0, August 2024 stood at 1,604.0, September 2024 improved 4.5 points to 1,588.0 and December 2024 rose 6.0 points to 1,595.0.
Turnover slipped to 8,046 lots from 14,970 last Friday, while open interest declined to 47,045 contracts from 57,416 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 0.51 per cent or 8.11 points to 1,598.20 from Friday's close of 1,590.09.
