MIDEA, MANCHESTER CITY CELEBRATE ONGOING PARTNERSHIP, LAUNCH 'BUY WIN FLY 2.0' CAMPAIGN

KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 (Bernama) -- Midea Scott and English Electronics Sdn Bhd (Midea Malaysia) has launched the ‘BUY WIN FLY 2.0 Campaign’ under the official Midea Manchester City Partnership as part of its ongoing efforts to expand its global reach and enhance the visibility of the leading brand.

Midea Malaysia general manager, Mark Tam, said the partnership with Manchester City has been the greatest success in boosting global exposure and strengthening the brand's journey in offering innovative home solutions.

“We are excited to continue this journey with the 'BUY WIN FLY 2.0 Campaign,' which not only rewards loyal customers but also showcases the variety of home appliances Midea offers, particularly our latest Internet of Things (IoT) and WIFI products,” he said in a statement issued by Midea Malaysia today.

He said that for the grand prize, three lucky winners will receive a world-class trip to the United Kingdom, including a 5-day, 4-night stay with VIP access to the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City Football Club.

Meanwhile, the second-place winners will have the chance to take home a Midea 4-door Quattro Inverter Refrigerator and a 3-in-1 Cordless Wet and Dry Floor Cleaner.

Tam said that every Midea customer who purchases any Midea product is eligible to enter the 'BUY WIN FLY 2.0 Campaign' contest until Aug 31.

“Midea customers simply need to fill in the form by visiting the official Midea Malaysia website at https://www.midea.com/my/mancitybuywinfly2024 to enter this major contest,” he said.

Through the campaign, Midea is also launching a new series of smart home appliances that have been designed and upgraded to integrate with modern artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

These innovations allow users to easily control their home environment through the Midea SmartHome App, such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, kitchen hoods and hobs, microwave ovens, and robotic vacuum cleaners.

Honorary Chairman of Midea Malaysia, Ng Kong Chin said that Midea is committed to innovation and quality, focusing on integrating advanced technology with sustainable practices to ensure that the products exceed customer expectations.

“We are determined to expand our market reach not only in Malaysia but also globally as a Group, and to enhance our product offerings to meet the needs of a diverse range of modern consumers,” he said.

The Midea mobile campaign truck will travel to nine different locations across Peninsular Malaysia, making stops in major cities until the end of August 2024, to promote this campaign.

This initiative aims to provide consumers with a direct experience of Midea's smart home products and offer more information on how to participate in the 'BUY WIN FLY 2.0 Campaign'.

The schedule for the 'BUY WIN FLY 2.0' mobile campaign truck is as follows: Starhill, Kuala Lumpur (June 28-30); Aeon Big Batu Pahat, Johor (July 5-7); Aeon Tebrau City, Johor (July 12-14); Lotus’s Penang (July 19-21); and Siang Dewan Fair, Ipoh (Aug 2-4).

Other campaign locations include Home Living Bukit Jalil, Selangor (Aug 8-11); Aeon Big Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Selangor (Aug 16-18); and IOI Mall, Puchong (Aug 23-25).
