RIO DE JANEIRO, July 2 (Bernama-dpa) --  At least 30 passengers were injured in turbulence during a flight from Spain to Uruguay on Monday, reported German news agency (dpa), quoting Air Europa.

According to the airline’s post on social media platform X, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing at a Brazilian airport.

The flight, which was on its way from Madrid to Montevideo, had 325 passengers on board.

News website G1 reported some passengers suffered fractures and others hit their heads during the turbulence.
